Children’s Health℠ PM Urgent Care is open 365 days a year to treat non-life-threatening common conditions in newborn through college-age patients. Dedicated solely to the treatment of children and young adults, the practice is staffed by board-certified pediatric emergency physicians and pediatricians, and it features an onsite digital X-ray, EKG and laboratory.
In addition to treating a variety of illnesses and injuries, including fever, infections, wounds requiring stitches, fracture management and respiratory care, the practice also treats dehydration, which is particularly important during cold and flu season and when treating heat-related illnesses.
COVID-19 Testing
This office offers COVID-19 testing – PCR, rapid antigen and serum antibody (blood)
We offer COVID-19 testing exclusively for children and young adults. If you would like to get assessed for testing, please choose one of the options below:
- Visit any Children’s Health PM Urgent Care, get an assessment by one of our providers and have the indicated COVID test performed.
- Get assessed using the PM Pediatrics Telemedicine mobile app.
Within 24 hours after your assessment, a scheduler will contact you during office hours to complete your registration and schedule your time slot for testing. If you do not hear from them after 24 hours, please call the office where you would like to be tested.
All testing is done by pediatric experts who follow the highest safety standards. For PCR testing, timing for results vary based on the lab that is processing the test. In Texas, labs processing COVID tests are required by law to report positive test results to the local health department. Please note, due to high testing volumes nationwide, lab results may take longer than expected and testing supplies may be limited.
