Biography
Rajashree Srinivasan, M.D., is associate medical director and chief of service – physical medicine and rehabilitation at Children’s Health℠. She specializes in brain and spinal cord injury.
I enjoy being a physician who cares for children with special needs, as it's very rewarding.
Dr. Srinivasan earned her medical degree from Bangalore Medical College in Bengaluru, Karnataka in India. She then completed her residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Toledo Health Science Campus in Toledo, Ohio.
Dr. Srinivasan’s research and clinical interests include spinal cord injury and cerebral palsy outcomes.
"I went into medicine to help people," Dr. Srinivasan says. "I enjoy being a physician who cares for children with special needs, as it's very rewarding. My dream is to provide cutting-edge, family-centered care for children."
Dr. Srinivasan is a member of numerous professional accociations including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR), and the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine, for which she serves on the Complex Care Committee.
Dr. Srinivasan teaches Indian classical music in her free time. She also sings in concerts and volunteers in the community. She loves spending time with her family and pets and enjoys traveling and being outdoors.
