Step by Step,
connecting the world.

The journey of feeding 1,000 mouths begins with your steps.

It is 8,325 miles from Denver, CO to Yetebon, Ethiopia.  It’s our goal to bridge that distance and more - to help support students your age with meals, school supplies and clothing by joining us in this Quarters for Kids journey the week of November 16th - 21st,  2009.

It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3, 4:

  • Register on-line
  • Sign up your pledges per mile
  • Walk or run your miles at school, home, the club, the mall, wherever - the week of November 16th.
  • Give the gift of food and supplies to Project Mercy  schools in Yetebon, Ethiopia

Governor Bill Ritter has committed to logging in the first and last mile of this epic undertaking, and if we are successful in reaching our goal, Gov. Ritter WILL CHALLENEGE THE GOVENORS OF OTHER STATES TO JOIN THIS AMAZING WORK! You can help to make a huge difference in the lives of others here, as well as those struggling with subsistence living in Yebeton.

So get busy, challenge your friends, social networking groups, other schools, teachers, parents - to participate in the rewarding joy of service, philanthropy, competitive spirit, and become empowered to make a difference in your life and the lives of others.

There is magic in every mile - with the help of you, your friends and family, we can turn these steps into sustenance.

We need you! So use the links above to register, and download the pledge form, to begin this ambitious and compassionate journey with us.  THANKS, YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
